มทส. จัดงานเชิดชูเกียรติและแสดงความยินดี

ผู้เข้ารับปริญญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์  และผู้ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ 

ในพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตร ประจำปีการศึกษา 2567

          ศาสตราจารย์ นพ.วิจารณ์ พาณิช  นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (มทส.) เป็นประธานในงานเชิดชูเกียรติและแสดงความยินดีแด่   ผู้เข้ารับพระราชทานปริญญาบัตรดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ จำนวน 4 ราย และผู้ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ จำนวน  4 ราย   ซึ่งได้เข้ารับในพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตรแก่ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (มทส.) ประจำปีการศึกษา 2567  ตามมติสภามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี  โดยมี  รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สิทธิชัย แสงอาทิตย์ รักษาการแทนอธิการบดี มทส. พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร และแขกผู้มีเกียรติเข้าร่วมแสดงความยินดี  เมื่อวันที่ 25 ธันวาคม 2568 ณ ห้องประชุมสารวิธาน อาคารบริหาร มทส. จังหวัดนครราชสีมา

   ปริญญาบัตรดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ จำนวน 4 ท่าน ประกอบด้วย
1. ปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ สาขาวิชาสหกิจศึกษา มอบแก่ นายถาวร  ชลัษเฐียร  
2. ปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์  สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีอาหาร มอบแก่ นายทวี  ปิยะพัฒนา  
3. วิศวกรรมศาสตรดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ สาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า มอบแก่ นายสุจินต์  สุวรรณกิจบริหาร  และ
4.ปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ สาขาวิชาทันตแพทยศาสตร์  มอบแก่ ศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ทันตแพทย์หญิง ท่านผู้หญิงเพ็ชรา เตชะกัมพุช

   ผู้เข้ารับปริญญาบัตรดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ ล้วนเป็นบุคคลผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ มีความรู้ ความสามารถและความเชี่ยวชาญในสาขาวิชาชีพที่ของตน เป็นผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ต่อสังคมและประเทศชาติ  ตลอดจนมีบทบาทสำคัญในการผลักดัน สนับสนุน และสร้างความเจริญก้าวหน้าให้กับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี อย่างเป็นที่ประจักษ์

    สำหรับผู้ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ  จำนวน 4 ท่าน ได้แก่
1.ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ สาขาวิชาฟิสิกส์  ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ประสาท สืบค้า
2. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ สาขาวิชาชีวเคมี ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เจมส์ เกตุทัต-คาร์นส์   
3. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ สาขาวิชาเภสัชวิทยา ศาสตราจารย์ เภสัชกร ดร. เกรียงศักดิ์ เอื้อมเก็บ  และ
4. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ สาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า ศาสตราจารย์ นาวาอากาศโท ดร.สราวุฒิ สุจิตจร  

    ผู้ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ล้วนเป็นผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิที่มีความรู้ ความสามารถ และความเชี่ยวชาญพิเศษในสาขาวิชาที่ได้อุทิศตน ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ด้านการเรียนการสอน และวิชาการมาอย่างยาวนาน มีบทบาทสำคัญยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษา และความเจริญก้าวหน้าในการจัดการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี  สภามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี จึงมีมติเป็นเอกฉันท์สมควรได้รับการยกย่องเชิดชูเกียรติ ให้ดำรงตำแหน่งศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี และเข้ารับพระราชทานเกียรติบัตรเพื่อเป็นเกียรติประวัติสืบไป

SUT Honors Recipients of Honorary Doctoral Degrees and Professor Emeritus Appointments

in Conjunction with the Royal Degree Conferral Ceremony, Academic Year 2024

Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) organized a ceremony to honor and congratulate recipients of Honorary Doctoral Degrees and those appointed as Professors Emeritus, in conjunction with the Royal Degree Conferral Ceremony for the Academic Year 2024.

The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Wijarn Panich, Chairman of the University Council. The event recognized four recipients of Honorary Doctoral Degrees and four recipients appointed as Professors Emeritus, who participated in the Royal Degree Conferral Ceremony for graduates of Suranaree University of Technology for the Academic Year 2024, in accordance with the resolution of the University Council.

Also in attendance were Associate Professor Dr. Sittichai Seangatith, Acting Rector of SUT, along with members of the university’s executive team and distinguished guests, who jointly extended their congratulations. The event took place on 25 December 2025 at the Sarawithan Meeting Room, Administration Building, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

Honorary Doctoral Degree Recipients

The Honorary Doctoral Degrees were conferred upon four distinguished individuals as follows:

1.       Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Cooperative Education – Mr. Thaworn Chalasthian

2.       Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Food Technology – Mr. Tawee Piyapattana

3.       Honorary Doctor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering – Mr. Sujin Suwanakijboriharn

4.       Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Dentistry – Professor (Adjunct) Thanpuying Petchara Techakampuch 

The recipients of the Honorary Doctoral Degrees are eminent individuals possessing exceptional knowledge, expertise, and professional competence in their respective fields. They have made significant contributions to society and the nation, and have played important roles in advancing, supporting, and fostering the progress and development of Suranaree University of Technology in a manner widely recognized.

Professor Emeritus Appointments

The four individuals appointed as Professors Emeritus are as follows:

1.       Professor Emeritus in Physics – Professor Dr. Prasart Suebka

2.       Professor Emeritus in Biochemistry – Professor Dr. James R.Ketudat-Cairns

3.       Professor Emeritus in Pharmacology – Professor Dr. Griangsak Eumkeb

4.       Professor Emeritus in Electrical Engineering – Professor Wing Commander Dr. Sarawut Sujitjorn

All recipients of the Professor Emeritus title are highly distinguished scholars who have devoted many years to teaching and academic service with outstanding expertise and dedication. Their contributions have been of great significance to the enhancement of educational quality and the continued advancement of academic management at Suranaree University of Technology.

In recognition of their exemplary merit, the Suranaree University of Technology Council unanimously resolved to confer upon them the honorary title of Professor Emeritus of Suranaree University of Technology, and they were granted Royal Certificates as an enduring mark of honor and distinction.
