A Legacy of "Green and Clean" Policy

Since opening to students in 1993, SUT has established a "Green and Clean University" policy. This includes restoring over 6,000 rai of degraded forest to rehabilitate the original environment and developing the internal landscape. The university plans and dictates development policies to increase forest areas, creating a shaded and beautiful environment suitable for a university city. Furthermore, infrastructure management systems—including water, waste, and energy—are designed to align with holistic environmental concepts.

Associate Professor Dr. Sittichai Seangatith, Acting Rector of SUT, stated regarding the achievement:

"This year's ranking is just one proof that the university continues to move forward in creating a learning and research ecosystem that connects with nature, reduces environmental impact, and elevates our competitiveness on the global stage. SUT is not just a green university, but aims to build a sustainable university city where the new generation wants to live and learn."
