Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) has once again affirmed its standing as one of Thailand’s leading research universities after being ranked among the Best Universities in Thailand 2025/2026 by Research.com, a globally recognized academic ranking platform for researchers worldwide.
In the overall ranking, SUT is placed 9th in Thailand among 21 Thai universities listed and 1,583rd worldwide, maintaining the same national position as in the previous year. The results highlight the University’s sustained excellence in research productivity, citation impact, and academic influence at the international level.

Strong Performance by Discipline
SUT also achieved notable rankings in several key academic disciplines under the Best Universities by Discipline category:
- 2nd in Thailand / 700th worldwide in Materials Science
- 4th in Thailand / 754th worldwide in Engineering and Technology
