SUT Reaffirms Integrity with “No Gift–No Give Policy” for Fiscal Year 2026
Promoting a culture of transparency and zero tolerance toward corruption
Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) has officially announced its “No Gift–No Give Policy” for Fiscal Year 2026 (B.E. 2569), prohibiting the acceptance or offering of gifts, gratuities, or any benefits arising from official duties. The policy reflects the University’s firm commitment to good governance, integrity, and transparency while preventing corruption at all levels.
The announcement, signed by Associate Professor Dr. Pornsiri Jongkol, Acting Rector of SUT, on 17 October 2025, mandates that all executives, staff, and employees refrain from accepting or offering any form of gifts or benefits to or from stakeholders, and avoid any actions that may result in conflicts of interest or misconduct.
Executives at all levels are required to serve as role models, ensure compliance among their teams, and stand firm against all forms of corruption. In cases where giving or receiving gifts is unavoidable under cultural customs or accepted social etiquette, such actions must be assessed for appropriateness and fully comply with the Prime Minister’s Regulations on Giving or Receiving Gifts of State Officials (B.E. 2565), as well as the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s (NACC) ethical guidelines.
SUT further emphasizes that this policy must be communicated clearly to all external organizations and partners to strengthen a shared culture of integrity and transparency across all university operations.
